Hi all.
Just a small blog tonight because I "did" my back in the weekend and can't sit for too long. You won't believe it...I was cleaning the loo...you know, around the bottom of the bowl, behind the bowl and the outlet pipe and all (I know, I sound like a house-proud obsessive). Believe me, I'm not. But with it being so dry, it's very dusty and of course, that doesn't take long to build up these days.
Anyway, I digress...I was cleaning around the bowl of the loo, stood up and ohhh! the pain. I haven't a clue what I did...nothing that I normally don't do...but whatever it was, I'm paying for it now.
I went to work today...silly thing to do. But I thought if I had anti-inflammatories (the off-the-shelf ones), I'd be fine. Wrong...however I stuck the day out but I'm not going in tomorrow. I think I'll pay a visit to the physiotherapist instead.
So, that's my tale of woe and I'll be back blogging as soon as I can sit long enough to type one and read yours.
For those of you who partake in Cats on Tuesday, Oscar will not be playing this week...see above.

That housework will do that toya every time Robyn, I have made pets of all my dust bunnies.
Bless your heart, I hope you are better soon!!
Oh dear, I do hope you're feeling better real soon! Hopefully it's just a pulled muscle or something. Today I reached up to get something off a shelf in the pantry and I went and pulled a muscle between my shoulder blades...my breath catches in my throat when I do certain movements. Gosh, is this what getting old is all about??? lol xoxo
Sorry to hear that, Robyn...it can happen so simply and when least you expect it to. I hope you're up and at 'em again soon. It's a damn nuisance and I feel for you.
Poor you. Say after me: Housework is not good for me; I must not do it.
Hope the physio helps. Is he tall young and good-looking?
I hope you are feeling better by today. Cleaning the loo can be dangerous! I twisted my leg a few years ago doing it. Strange way to injure oneself!
Hi Robyn ~~ Sorry to hear of your back problem and that usually takes 5 - 7 days to come good. Laughed at your work snafus and the doctor who was to wear a kilt.
Hope you got some relief from the physio Robyn. Do take care, Love, Merle.
Oh back problems? I did my back in just sneezing once!
Just joined 50 & Bloggin so working my way through the blogroll saying hello!
Poor girl ! Couldn't you find a more romantic place than a toilet to urin (pardon ruin) your back ? Hope that Oscar takes good care of you and warms your back !
That hurts! Feel better soon!!
