Hello dear Robyn:-) I'm finally having some free time to catch up on everyones' news!! I've just read all the installments so far of the trip you had taken to the NT...what a fabulous trip you had!! I so enjoyed looking at all the photos and seeing how very different the landscape is! Goodness, imagine having soaked your feet in that water and then finding out there might be alligators! lol That Bower's nest with all the broken egg shells is quite fascinating!! xox
What a wonderful holiday experience! (I've been reading, but haven't commented yet) Today I was forced to comment by the sight of that amazing station wagon/truck/limousine vehicle...what a hoot!!
Just read the continuation of your interesting trip. These bird nests are amazing I have never seen such big nests and the story to it also ! I wonder how these birds look like are they big ? The biggest nest I have ever seen was a storch nest and that is still smaller then these once.
I've now semi retired but still work from home. I live on acreage in Queensland with great friends and family nearby. I love my life and hope to share some of it in this blog.

And yes, I know it was there yesterday, but I didn't look closely enough!
