Hi Everyone, thank you so much for the very kind comments on my posts about the Carnival of Flowers. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to Toowoomba.
Marching bands...
The ladies' drumming band
and a mobile jazz band.
The Lion and the Scarecrow...
and the Wicked Witch of the West...who admitted to kidnapping the sleeping child...
A World War II jeep...with flowers.
I love the bark on this tree...
Dwarf cinerarias...one of my favourite flowers.
Well, that's it from the Carnival of Flowers...promise. I've done my week working in the city and now I know why I gave it up! The road work, traffic and getting up early to get ready were diabolical and it was real shock to the system...

Robyn,
I love the profusion of spring flowers and parades. These photos are spectacular.

An event like this deserves several posts.
The parade looks so great and don't speak about all the wonderful flowers.
Great photos.
btw. You write you have done several posts from the Carnival og Flowers; well, I've done the same about Anna's 3x20 celebration. You can have a look of how Norwegians celebrate.
Even a witch amongs the flowers, lol ! I went yesterday to a pumpkin feast that was nice too, will post pictures tomorrow !
Hi Robyn ~~Another lovely post and your flower and parade photos were excellent.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
I hope you only had to work in town a week, seeing it was a shock to the system. Glad you enjoyed the Powerful Woman's motto -- watch out Satan!!
We got to 32 here today, it doesn't need to get that warm quite yet. Take care,
Love, Merle.
G'day Robyn, more good photos, BTW each of the three WW2 jeeps had one of our Olympians in the back, can't remember any names but 1 was a shot putter.
Nice pictures.
I like watching different marching bands and the flowrs are the star of any parade
I hope the sleeping baby didn't wake up - that wicked witch would have scared me!
Well I for one am glad you didn't skimp on the photo's by cramming them all into one or two posts. I thoroughly enjoyed all four posts, it was wonderful.
