I Wish I'd Had the Camera

Yesterday, I had a sleep in until about 6.30 then got up, made a cup of coffee, carried it back to bed and read my book.

I heard someone thumping past my window and then saw young Scott run past, so I naturally assumed that Mitch was the first one I heard going past. I thought they were going to kick the soccer ball around before breakfast. Then I heard Jane, trying to call out quietly to Scott, as she wasn't sure whether I was awake or not. Fred didn't think of that and spoke in his normal voice...all of this was outside my window. I wondered what on earth was going on but didn't get up to investigate, as my book was really unputdownable at that time.

Later, when having a cup of coffee with Jane and Fred, I found out that the thumping I heard was a kangaroo bounding past the window. I wish I'd had the camera...

How exciting !! that would never happen to me except a dog or cat or a neighbor bouncing, lol ! But a kangaroo !
I just read your day description, it looks very similar to mine, isn't that funny ? In summer I sometimes drink my coffee with Dominique my friend and neighbor and then we would have an early chat over the fence. On Monday afternoons I usually get together with my girlfriends and and then we always have a lot to laugh about. Now I am really happy with my "retired" life ! I don't feel retired at all, lol !

No wonder you missed the kangaroo after that big sleep in.

Oh Cool!! A kangaroo!! That would have just thrilled me to death but then again...we do not see them here in the USA!! smile!!
Thanks for stopping by. I did try the therapy that you told me about but it did absolutely NO GOOD!! I have tried almost everything now and in 12 years it is still there. I am better right now but it comes in waves and just knocked me off my feet when it happens...
Have a great day..Sandy
