Answering Questions

I started to write this post a few days ago, did something wrong and lost all except the title. Grrrr. Unfortunately, there's no undo/redo button on Blogger.

Anyway, some of you have wondered what caused the cramps. It was a simple lack of salt. I don't each much salt and in this climate, which is humid and sultry, I should do. I'd had some bloods done about a month ago and all results were ok, except for sodium, which was below normal range...hence cramps. So, I have been having salt and of course, no more cramps.

And for my American friends...physio is physiotherapy or physical therapy to you. Sorry about the vernacular...it just slips out.

Apart from all that, physio can only do so much and at least I'm relatively mobile again. I still can't sit for long and can't drive very far, but at this stage, as long as I can get to the library for something to read, I'm happy. I've done a lot of soft tissue damage as well as exacerbating the spinal degeneration which I already had anyway so now it's only a matter of time and just waiting for an improvement.

As long as I have Panadol Osteo and Advil on hand, I can cope, albeit it rather slowly and somewhat painfully at this stage. As my friend Ken said, we don't bounce back like young kids anymore...in fact we don't even bounce!

Hope this finds you all well and thank you so much for your caring messages. I love you all and thank you for being in my life. Have a good weekend. Hugs.

I really hope that you make a quick and full recovery Robyn. Good luck with the physio and hope your pain meds keep you going. Nermal sends purrs and head butts your way and to the kiddies too :)

Dear Robyn ~~ At least you know why you have had so much pain and how to
fix it ~~extra salt. Do hope you are back to your old self very soon.
I am still having a lot of pain when walking. Fine sitting, and lying in bed. I think I use enough salt.
Thanks for your comments, glad you liked the Harrod's salesman etc.
Take great care my friend, don't like to see you feeling low (or me
either) Look after yourself,
Love and Hugs, Merle.

Now that just takes the biscuit! Here all doctors complain that we eat too much salt and you don't eat enough ! Come over and make a salt cure here !
Wht do you think about Yoga for your back ? I tell you since I do that once a week I don't have any physical troubles anymore !
I am proud ! I understood the word "physio" Australian is more like english english ! My young neighbor couple went yesterday for 1 months to Australia for they honeymoon !!

Well, that was good that it were sorted out that fast!

I hope you get better soon. I know how it is to go for long periods w pain. No fun at all even though one get more used to it after a while. It's tiresome for the mind.

((hugs))

Bouncing back is all that matters and good drugs help. Illegal drugs dont but they make it seem like they do LOL
