A couple of random photos

I thought you'd like to see these...

This is our back yard. My flat is attached to the main house, where Jane & Fred are, at the far end. See our lovely big tipuana tree. It's evergreen and when it's in flower, tiny yellow flowers that just smother the tree, is absolutely spectacular.

When I was at my brother's last weekend, we found this photo and I got him to email me a copy. It was taken a couple of years ago at Peter's (my brother) 60th. L to R: Peter, his eldest son, Campbell, me in front, behind me, our brother Colin, and next to him, Peter's youngest, Julian. I'm going to send Mum a copy as I know she doesn't have one and she would like it.

The sunrise the other morning. It was absolutely spectacular and looked as if the world was on fire. I enlarged this and it's blurred...it looks better this size...trust me.

Wow Robyn, you've got beautiful and massive grounds. And what a spectacular view. I'm sure that pictures can't possibly do that sunrise justice. I hope you'll take a picture of that massive tree when it's in bloom, it sounds interesting. Cheers from the Big Apple :)

I just decided this is a nice place to go on holidays !

Little Rosie has a sore throat, and has difficulties to swallow and eat. Of course it has to be me having a cat with a sore throat, didn't even know that it exists ! but it does, said the vet !

G'day Robyn ~~ Loved all the photos,
the tree is wonderful and so is the sunrise. I am sure your Mum will love that family photo as t's great.

You didn't get the cold weather from us, we still have it. Very low o'night temps Minus 1 up to 13C
tomorrow. At least with frosts, we
get a nice day after.
I spoke to Peter last night and he is OK and he is lucky he wasn't hurt. The car will get fixed OK
but you can't fix people.
Take great care, my friend.
Love, Merle.
