When one has nothing much to blog about, post photos up...as I've done. I went out into the garden earlier and although it's only July, still winter, I found this colour in the garden.

So much colour in a Queensland winter garden. I must take the camera out and see what I can find in ours, although I doubt that a Canberra garden can quite match yours in the winter, Robyn. I like Fred's orchid.
Beautiful, beautiful flowers.
Thanks for sharing.
What pretty flowers!
Very pretty flowers, I really like the Bromeliad. Do they grow on a bush? Have a nice day.
Oh no, don't get lazy on us Robyn hehe... I should talk!
Although they're very nice captures. And to think, it's supposed to be winter over there?
Although I live on the other side of the world, your remark "July is still winter" seems to be so true, when I look on the thermometer. In our winters there are no flowers at all ! I have never seen this Bromeliad flower. Very special.
Rosie discovered mouse catching ! Yesterday when I did my yoga excersises in the morning, my hand touched something fury and strange, it was a dead mouse !! and a very big one for this little Rosie !
Wow! What beautiful flowers. Amazing to think these are growing in your winter. Thanks for sharing.
Now, honestly....color me so full of envy!!!!! You have poinsettias growing in your YARD?!!!! Dang. I've tried and tried and tried to get my Christmas potted poinsettias to live after transplanting them from the pot...no go. Ohhhhhhhhhhh, how I am green with envy!
Hi Robyn ~~ Great flowers - I agree with Anni the poinsettias are just
beautiful growing in the ground. I
usually get one in a pot that doesn't last too long in the hot weather. Fred's orchid is lovely too
Take care, Love, Merle.
