Breaking News...

A new volcano has been discovered in Queensland. Jane and Fred's youngest boy, Scott, has a project for school...to make a volcano for science. So he and Fred got together and with a plastic plant pot as a base, lots of papier mache, playdough, paints and raiding of mosses and ferns from the garden, made this masterpiece. In the top of a volcano is a disposable drinking mug from which the science teacher will make the volcano erupt.
On the top right of the baseboard, you can see a small village and in the lower right corner, barely seen, are tiny playdough sheep. I reckon he'll get full marks for this effort, don't you?

Maryann and I got a big laugh from this posting. Apparently this is a project science teachers all over the world require of their students.

We look forward to further reports.

Will the village be destroyed?

Will the sheep survive?

Will the project make it to school in one piece? lol

Thanks for sharing. Tell Scott he did a great job and we are sure he will get good marks.

I think it's a great volcano.
One worthy of erupting all over the sheep.

Dear Robyn ~~ Scott has done very well with his volcano. I hope he gets a great mark.
I was glad when John got home, always am. We never stop worrying
and now he is repaying me by worrying about me these days.
It is warmer, but certainly not hot.
Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.

This sure brings back memories of when my kids did their science projects.
The volcano is wonderful. It looks like a lot of work went into it. It deserves an A that's for sure.
