Volcano Erupts in Queensland

Yes, the volcano erupted most satisfactorily and spectacularly. Alison, Scott's teacher, used a mixture of vinegar and bicarbonate of soda with red colouring which produced the appropriate result.

Scott received a "Superstar" certificate at parade on the Monday and not surprisingly, an A+ for his effort.

I gave him a copy of all your comments, putting the country of origin along side your names. He took it to school and Alison read them out to the rest of the class. So all in all, it was a very exciting day for young Scott.

Below are a couple of photos of the event.

An "aerial" view into the crater at the time of eruption.

The eruption in progress...yep, chargrilled sheep...

Wow! That looks like a lot of hard work went into that project. He deserves an award for it.
