Budding Pop Stars Make Their Debut...Not!

Jane and Fred's boys got a Wii for Christmas which included Singstar.  Last night we had a Singstar party.  Budding pop stars?  I think not, but we had a great time.  Abba, Elton John, Jimmy Barnes, Midnight Oil and the like...it was great fun.

The next thing Jane and I want to have a go at is Wii fit.  Apparently, one can do oneself a mischief...should be fun!

Then we can play soccer, go skiing, play 18 holes of golf or compete in the Australian Open of tennis.  Actually, I think ten pin bowling is more my level and I find I'm the best gutter bowler in Australia!

All this stuff is rather addictive, but great fun.  Blow the washing and vacuuming, I think I'll be Taylor Swift today, or shall I play against David Beckham?  Decisions, decisions...

Hi Robyn ~~ Sounds like fun, even though I have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe the heat is getting to me - 40C today, then 41,
then 42, then 40C then thankfully down to 26C and a cool change then we climb again. The nights are around 22 to 25C.
Thanks for your comments and I am glad you liked Sum Ting Wong and the Senility prayer. I an so sorry you have problems with your eyes and hope they are fixable.
Take care, my friend. Love, Merle.

That's a crazy thing ! my neighbor's son has one, first I didn't understand anything, now as I don't want to be a stupid oldie I informed myself, lol !
I went to Holland see my friend it's on my blog today and will be tomorrow, if ever you have time to have a look.
BTW usually I never watch tennis, but this time I am involved personally, with the both Belgians, Kim and Justine although I don't like the latter, I don't know why. She lives not so far from Waterloo does a lot for children and youth without making a big fuss about it, but still, there must be something with her face !

Oh this is a bunch of fun...reading your blog that is. Yes, decisions, decisions...and I say "blow the laundry and vacuuming" all the time around here, and I don't have Wii

Wii is fun. And wii fit is fun, plus you can weigh the cats and dogs on it, too.

Have fun. Keep us posted of your progress. Don't overdo it, though.

Ooohh I love Singstar. I have it on my PS2, but I never touched my gaming consoles lately except for the handheld ones.

Our trainer says the Wii fit is good. It's always party time down your way, isn't it?!

What I like the most with Wii even though I don't have one myself, is that one has to move the body - getting some exercise at the same time! Brilliant!

Sounds like an extended waking nightmare to me, having that going on all hours in the house!!
