Girding our Loins...

Next Saturday is another party...not that we have very many of them (ahem).  Fred and his twin sister, Toni, turn 50!  So it's all on...again.

Preparations are going on.  Foodwise, Jane is going to cook three pork roasts tomorrow, I've donated heaps of stuff I had in the freezer from my party.  Yummy things like spanokapita, sausage rolls, mini dim sims and spring rolls, etc.  They always go down well and now I have a lot more room in the freezer!

Fred and Toni went out shopping for the do today and came back from the Plaza with bags full of interesting and exciting things.  Jane is being driven mad from the phone continually ringing with people accepting, or not, as the case may be.

Ken sits outside on his little patio, watches the fun and games and keeps well away...wise man.  Me?  I do the same...

I'll let you know how the celebrations go.

Oh, yes, it's being held here...at least I don't have to drive anywhere...

It sounds like a blast. Please let Jane know I will not be in attendance. We just got a few more inches of snow and more is promised. It is supposed to be back into the 50's by mid-week.

I am sure you will take plenty of photos. Please post some of them. I understand that you will not post the ones that you can use for "blackmail". chuckle.

btw, what are spanokapitas. I'm too lazy to google it.

Have fun and a big Happy Birthday to Fred and Toni. Please remind them that age is only a number. And I should know, my numbers are getting larger.

It's so nice to have parties. For the moment it's rather boring here. All couples we knew are divorced and we don't know whom to invite, others are dead (yes unfortunately it starts now) so we have a cocktail with our neighbours, and a birthday party ! all the others live too far away.
So I blogparty with you !
