Hi to you all...

What is they say? A picture paints a thousand words. This is Oscar doing a lot of painting. What a life! He is the most spoilt rotten cat ever, and it is all my fault, I know. But how can we not spoil our pets? They are our babies and in my case, because I live on my own, it's lovely to have someone greet me when I come home from a day in the city. So, dream on, Oscar, mama loves you anyway...

I went and visited Ms Flossy today (oops, I've had a couple of wines and almost typed Ms Floozy!). She has been so busy making her delicious smelling soaps. The other day she gave me a sample of a soap perfumed with green tea and ginger and I swear, everytime I use it, I get the munchies. This is not good. Do you have the link to her website? If not, look in my list under the name "Suzie". If you scroll down her index on the left-hand side, you will see "Amethyst Grove, The Store". This link will take you to her online shop and you can browse through her yummy products. Not only does this talented lady make soaps, bath salts, ironing spritzers, but she also makes lovely aprons, peg bags and oh, all sorts of goodies. She is very clever and to think I gave birth to her. I feel quite smug!

My eldest daughter, Ms Toni, visited the other day with little Cooper, as you will have seen from the previous post. I really made the right decision when I made the move from the city to Greenbank, as I am only a few minutes' drive from both my daughters and see far more of them than I did before. I also get to see more of my grandchildren which is a real blessing.

Tomorrow, I have to brave the Springfield Race Track (see post titled "A Day in the City, etc) for one of my two days of work in the city. I have been thinking very seriously of giving up that job and just working entirely from home. I was talking with Ms Flossy today and she came up with a couple of good ideas that I could do as well as the medical reports I already do from home. It's worth a thought and I will save petrol! I have even thought of a name for my fledgling business. So...? I shall put it out to the Universe and sleep on it.

I rang my venerable mother yesterday and was so pleased to hear that she was up and going after her stay in hospital. Nothing holds her back, well not for long anyway, and she was telling me about the play she and Harold are in and the other activities they are involved in. So that was really good to hear. On that positive note, I shall call it a day for now.

Keep well and be nice to yourselves...
