There are a couple of books I have put ? after, purely because I'm a bit ambivalent about them, however one day I may read them.

I love the Lord of the Rings movies, but trying to read the books...oh I tried, but didn't get very far. All that minutiae scrambled my brain.

You may notice I have none of these books on my bookshelf. I don't have room so I have reference books only, very few novels, as I can go to the library for these.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the meme and let's have a look at your reading habits.

I haven't read enough of these books to do the meme. My genealogy research gets most of my time.
I must say I am impressed with the amount you have read. I have seen the movies made from some of the books!

I've seen this meme around which I may do it because I'm feeling sickly and uninspired...sigh!!

Hi Puss,
You've read a lot of those books too, I did the meme but it's still a draft post. I had read 64 of the books. I have to say I owned a lot too, even some I hadn't read!

I have so many of those listed on my book shelves. "Atlas Shrugged" is beside my bed...its permanent spot in my household and "The Fountain Head" is not far away.

Two of my favourite and most used books are my Oxford Dictionary (the one I had in high school, would you believe!) and my Roget's Thesaurus...which is so tattered and torn and cover-less, but I couldn't do without it.

I've actually read 4 of these books, a longggg time ago...I've seen a lot of the movies based on the books, though, does that count? lol Have a wonderful weekend dear Robyn, I'm off to the Sugar Bush:-) xoxo

I counted up and I've read 41 on the list. I've not read any of the Harry Potter books. Loved "The Hobbit" and "Lord of the Rings"...they were wonderful books. I also have the "Companion to Tolkien" here' "Atlas Shrugged" I've read many times as I have "The Fountain Head". "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" is one of my all time favourite books and stands proudly in one of my bookcases.

"Little Women", well I can't remember how many times I've read this (or seen the movies)...and still cry...I've also read the sequels "Good Wives", "Little Men" and "Jo's Boys", all of which are equally wonderful reading.

Great list, Robyn.

Most of them I have read too, but never a Harry Potter I don't know why it just doesn't interest me. Maybe because I have no grandchildren, lol ?
