It has been an extremely busy week, birthday wise and it still hasn't finished. Last Saturday was Fred's birthday, so we duly celebrated. Wednesday was Jane's birthday, again more celebrating...incidentally both birthdays involved glasses of red wine. Thursday morning I did not feel like getting up early to go to work but I did. Today, Good Friday, is my daughter's birthday.
I was going to drop in this afternoon, but at 8.00 am this morning, I had a phone call from her to go for lunch as all the family are gathering. Panic, what do I take for lunch, seeing as it was one of these last minute things that so often happen amongst our lot. Scrabble through the pantry...nothing. Rat around in the fridge...hmm, eggs, cheese, tomatoes...possibilities there. Forage through the freezer...voila! Bacon, spinach...ok, a quiche, that'll do. Bingo! Found a packet of frozen heat'n'eat sausage rolls...I'll take those as well. It just goes to show...an unexpected invitation can result in clean out of the fridge and freezer.
That's the start of my Easter...I'll relay the rest as it happens. Watch this space...
Later...
Guess what I scored? Well, Jane did on my behalf...a digital camera and printer dock for $35...yep, that's right. I'm so rapt. Someone was selling it and she thought of me...isn't that just lovely of her? The printer dock hasn't been used because the original colour cartridge and photo paper are still in their original packing. We tried out the camera, charged it up and it works beautifully. It's a 3 x zoom and now I will be flashing like made, taking photos of everything...woohoo!
Had a lovely time at Toni's and here's a photo of Cooper caught in the act!

Best birthday wishes to all and a blessed Easter to you.
Hi Robyn and a Happy Easter to you.
One would never have dreamed there would be lashings of red wine about at those celebrations! ;)
Just out of tradition, I never eat meat on Good Friday, so I'm waiting for the oil to heat and I'm about to cook battered fish and chips! Yum! I'm starting to salivate here, so I'd better be off!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. :)
Looking forward to seeing more of those photos. What a little cutie...
Lol love that picture of Cooper! What a sweetie he is!! Sometimes the best get togethers are the ones that are planned at the last minute:-) Happy Easter to you and yours dear Robyn!! xoxo
What a little cutie!!
Have a Happy Easter!
It seems to me that you partied quite a lot, lol ! and I agree Australian wine tastes great ! I discovered it in London and now we have it here too. I don't like french wine, they always say it it's the best, but that's bullsh..!Italian, Australian and Californian wines are much better for quality and price !
Congratulations that really was a deal with your camera ! Now I expect a lot (!!!) of pictures of my friend Oscar !
BTW Arthur has catched a mouse yesterday and has eaten it in front of our eyes ! Disgusting ! And Mr. Gattino was offended because he always buys raw meat especially for Arthur ! Drama in Gattina's house !
