I love the show "The Chaser's War on Everything" and...watching the news tonight, a lot of their stunts are set up.
I feel cheated, rorted and totally gutted. I really thought they were as audacious as they really seemed to be. Just goes to show...you can't trust anybody...not even The Chaser! Bugger!

Wow - I hadn't heard about this, but I too am shocked. I thought they were innovative and different (as well as obviously a bit irritating, especially to the unsuspecting subjects of their pranks! - who it now seems were not so unsuspecting?!!)
I'm not familiar with the show; however, I have long realized that TV is "entertainment" and that says it all.
Hi Robyn, We dont get that show in Victoria,so cant comment like Saintly Nick TV is Entertainment.
Haha Thought was going to be a story on those dreaded Cane toads. Aussie rules here.
Well you know anymore you cannot trust anything to be actually REAL!! Thanks for stopping by and seeing our family!! We had such a great time!!
Sandy
Don't get that show over here so can't comment. I fear I am very naive and still believe just about everything I see and am told. Mainly because I don't expect people to lie to me.
I don't watch it (or much other TV) interferes with blogging time, At least your prediction of a Queensland victory in the Origin match was right !0 - 6 a low scoring match but we won it so who cares.
I'm not familiar with the show you mentioned but I sure understand the disappointment you feel at learning so much is fake. You'd think they could do better than that!
I'm not with you on that show, Robyn. I've not been a fan of it...and particularly was embarrassed and angered at the questions they threw at Sophia Loren during her visit here a week or so ago.
I don't, I must be just me...but I found those guys, like those on "The Panel" to be self-serving and believed themselves to be the funniest people in the world. As I said, it's probably just me. ;)
