Where I Live

Thanks to Google Earth, now you can see where I live...

Our place is right in the centre of the picture, surrounded by other houses (members of the Wine O'Clock Club). When the satellite took this, we hadn't had very much rain at all. If the picture was taken now, it would be a lot greener. If you click on the photo to enlarge, I have outlined our property to give you an idea of exactly where we are.

Who's a clever little cartographer then???

You have some photos and text impinging onto your sidebar, if you delete the long line at the foot of your current posts (scroll to bottom) that may fix it.

Wow, that's interesting, I have Google earth too, but don't know exactly how it works. Mr. Gattino told me yesterday that he had found our house, will ask him how he did it. Isn't that a great invention ?

It looks more like SA than Qld in that shot. Everywhere is very brown and dusty here, not my favourite time of year for ANY reason.

Robyn,
Now that's a pretty fair size ranch isn't it?

Hi Robyn ~ ~ Thanks for showing us where you live ~ ~ unfortunately it is too far away to visit you.
Did you get rid of the plovers? I can only remember seeing them once on my way to school over 60 years ago.
They nest on the ground and flew out yelling at me. They are noisy birds.
Take care Robyn, Love, Merle.
