Woe is Me...

Yes, it was time for a bath for two very pongy dogs...what had they been rolling in?

Shelby being shampooed

Then rinsed. Have you ever seen such a thoroughly pinged off look?

Kayla overseeing things. No way was she going to have that done!

Ebony, who'd already been bathed, waits for Shelby so they can go off together and roll in something nasty...

Hi Robyn ~~ What a fun job for you
although they seemed pretty co-operstive. Glad you like my family photo. Sorry about the monk joke, I was quite disappointed that I didn't find out what made the sound
but can't say I lost any sleep over it. Was a good joke though.
Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.

Yes, i'm familiar with that look! But Shelby's being very good.

Why do they insist on rolling in pongs?!

Just another reason why I am not a dog fan. I do love dogs that belong to others, but count me out for having one.

I joke with our kids, friends and their dogs about how I don't like dogs. I can't resist giving a good ear scratch when the opportunity arises. Just sayin'.

Robyn,
I've never comprehended why dogs roll in the most putrid smelling substances they can find. And then they get snarly when you are so offended that out comes the soap and waterrel

Wow, they're so good about getting bathed. I wish Nermal was that compliant!

Oh oh! that looks like you may get a bath too. They look so shiny afterwards. Like black mirrors.

Hi again Robyn ~~ Thanks for your comments Glad you liked the
jokes etc. I think only ppl who are compassionate and caring do the caring jobs. And I get on well with most ppl. We had 18 degrees today
which was good and my washing dried with the big tree gone.
Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.

When we had a dog, a completely white one like Arthur, she loved to roll in cow poop and came home completely green ! What fun !

Having owned a dog when I was a teenager, I can remember what a chore it was trying to give him a bath! lol This one time when dad was building a house, he got into the tar paper that went on the roof, under the shingles, and his white fur was black/blue when he came in. At least it didn't smell! lol xoxo
