These rainbow lorikeets rather like Hooks' seed and annoy her by going right into her cage and helping themselves. At one point, they were on top of the cage, beside Hooks, and she had a go at them. They had a go right back, which really disconcerted Hooks and she wasn't sure what to do about that.
Jane and I were talking by the cage and she grabbed her camera and got these shots...the lorikeets weren't the least afraid of us at all and totally ignored the camera flash.
Hooks on top of her cage and the lorikeets inside helping themselves.
One came to check us out while the other kept eating.

What charming fellow! I was sure it was looking at me :-)
Dear Robyn ~~ Very cheeky birds, but very pretty lorikeets. Thanks for your visit and I am glad you got a laugh out of the insufficient funds
jokes. It is funny how some like this joke and others like that joke.
All cooking done for a while. I am
about to have some yummy pea and ham soup before I do my blog. (not block)
I hope you are free of the itching etc. Take care, Love, Merle.
What cute and pretty birds. "Wotchu lookin' at!" I'm lookin' at you cutie.
I love a "me" day once in a while also. Sometimes it's just fun to do whatever our little heart fancies. And to stay in bed and read a book, now that's my kind of day;))
They have beautiful colors ! I suppose you didn't present them to your cats, lol !
I have a lot of fun here with all these young students ! don't even realize my old bones ! Sunday I drive home it's already over !
Wow! And they're just wild birds? Gosh. Make ours look very dull.
Two things:
you have an award over at my place;
next time you visit Gledwood please will you tell him he keeps crashing my puta and that's why I haven't commented?
What pretty birds. They really are colorful!!! We would be thrilled here to see these on our bird feeders. We have a lot of birds but never one that good looking...so brightly colored!! Once I did see a blue bunting...He was gorgeous. Poor HOOKS!!

That's just as bad as two strangers walking into your house and helping themselves to your food! lol That's too funny, no wonder Hooks was disconcerted! hehe Those lorikeets sure are gorgeous, though, I wish we had colourful birds like that around here!! Have a great weekend dear Robyn!! xoxo
You mean those are wild birds!? That's wicked Robyn! Nice of Hook to share her food. Nermal and I were in the back yard yesterday and he caught a baby Robin, I made him let the poor thing go. Purrs from Nermal and me!
Lovely birds. I wonder how Alex would behave if I were to obtain a bird?
