Misty Morning

I was working away this morning, having started at about 6.00 when it was still dark. At about 7.00 am, deciding it was time for my second cup of coffee, I wondered over the bench, switched the kettle on and gazed out the window.

I was struck by the sight of the sun shining through the trees, enhancing the slight mist around and showing up the heavy dew that fell during the night. It actually looks like a slight frost, but it's not. We don't get frosts here.

So, while the kettle was doing its thing I grabbed the camera and got this shot.

Yes, nothing like a mysteriously misty morning to make you feel warm and snug with your coffee inside.

Have a lovely weekend Robyn!

Fabulous shot. I do think I need a mandarin juice (Can't drink coffee any longer).

We still have Sun from around 4 am.
That's ok during vacations - or?
Well, we have a good time here in the Summerhouse.

Have a great weekend.

Dear Robyn ~~ Lovely picture, well done. I hope you are feeling better.
Thanks for your comments, glad you liked the Insurance claims. Gotta watch out for those trees that jump out at you, and invisible cars.
Take care, Love, Merle.

Your always welcome to experience frost - you just come to Norway :-)

But not now: the sun set around 10 and rise at 4, so you have to wait until winter time.

btw: Beautiful pictures - I just love the back light!
