Blogger Problems

I'm fed up! For the past few days, I haven't been able to upload images onto my posts. When I go into add image, select a photo and press open, nothing happens.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a Blogger problem or my 'puter? There seems to be no reason for it that I can see. The photos still have the same file identification from the camera. It's driving me nuts.

Any suggestions would be most helpful.

It is probably not your computer it is Bloogle Glogger ! You probably have reached your uploading capacity or whatever they call it and now you are asked to pay ! I had it too, that's why I don't use the Blogger uploading service anymore and switched over to Photobucket which does the same job is quicker and easier and FREE !!
Lots of people had this problem ! Some of them payed others did like I do. I don't want to spent a penny for my blog if I can get things for free !

Dear Robyn ~~ Sorry you are having blogger problems with photos. I use
Blogger and have no trouble with that

Thanks for your comments and I am glad you liked "And that's when the fight started" jokes. I have a few more for my next post.

I hope you have a great weekend,
but after my recent celebrations, I
thing not. Although Monday is John's 55th birthday, so maybe we could go out for a meal.
Take care, Love, Merle.

Hey Robyn, blogger sucks doesn't it? I have had that same problem in the past where I can't upload pictures. It's usually an issue on blogger's end and resolves itself in a day or so. I doubt that you have reached your limit on uploads, you don't seem to have 1024 MB of pictures yet. I rarely upload directly on blogger nowadays because of that prob but also coz I wanted more control over my pics. I use flickr.com and post pics as html codes. You can use photobucket the same way as well. If the problem doesn't resolve maybe you can try uploading pics that way? Good luck :)

I agree with Angelo. Blogspot does have problems occurring occasionally. They fix themselves.

I have not reached my photo limit. I have used flckr.com, snapfish.com and slide.com It is quite easy to include the link to these sites.

Good luck.

I upload my pictures to Blogger through Picasa. I love Picasa and it helps keep my pictures organized. It has a button that says.. blog this. I haven't had any trouble this week.

BTW.. the birds in my photohunt post are eastern bluebirds... the male is more colorful.

Robyn,
When I first started blogging 2 years ago I had the same problem. Pea advised me to download Mozilla Firefox (it's free) aand use that instead of internet explorer. She was right: it worked flawlessly.
I don't have any trouble now with IE.

I am sorry I can't help with your problem, hope you find out soon what is wrong. My son Doug is a computer nerd, he fixes mine if something goes wrong. He is on my followers if you wish to contact him.

Robyn, you may need to reduce the size of your photos (they do REALLY enbiggen when clicked open) I use PIXresizer (a freebie) and reduce them to about 800 X 600, they then load quickly and without problems.
Quit pickin' on poor old freebie Blogger!!!

Yes, I know the problem.
All your photos are automatically stored on Picasa web-album.
You got 1 GB for free, if more you you need to pay.
Google does not tell you.
1) Check into your Picasa web-album.
Some of my photos were stored up to 13 times;D. That's what I call sheeting and gread.
2) Compress all photos to be uploaded to your blog - i.e. Store as "Websites" or something equivalent depending of the Photoprogram you are using.
3) Be optimistic. Read about my struggle last autumn:
